Converge Idea Pond and all community pages into a single one

I just got to know about "Idea Pond". I appreciate the effort to keep track of feature requests in a better way, but I think the community sites for Toad are already way too fragmented.

- For Support: Mailing groups or toadworld (toadforsqlserver.com)

- For Bugs: Quest support (why should anyone bother filling in that crappy webform in order to be able to report a bug?)

- For Feature requests: Idea Pond

- And also for other Toad variants (Oracle, DB2, Mysql, ) totally separated communities (which makes sense to some extent)

I just don't understand why you just don't merge all these stuff in a single environment like launchpad or something similar.

    Ercan, Once the Idea Pond is working as it was intended then maybe expand upon it...

    As for bug reports, I only submit bug/NFR to support@quest.com, I cannot make a comment on the webform for support for I havn't used it.

    The purpose of toadss@yahoo.com and toad_ss_beta@yahoogroups.com are uniquely different, to combine them into the Idea pond, assumes that the idea pond can accept all that has been submitted in the past via emails. Whether is has the capacity and fucntionality for same is an issue to discuss... We both have submitted good ideas in the past that have not been acted upon for one reason or another and it is not clear in they can even be referenced.

    Currently if someone puts in an idea into the Idea pond I may not ever see it, If someone sends in an email then I always get it.

    Bottom Line I cannot agree or disagree with this idea until I know what can be accomplished in the Idea pond.

    So, I support the idea at a basic level, it is the execution of what you have proposed that I would hope Quest would get our collective input prior to roll-out.

      I got your point. Quest is really looking for some solution and we hope we'll find something that will be convenient for all of us.
